Stories from Local Cancer Survivors
Would you like to share your story about surviving cancer.  Whether you are currently in treatment, just finished or survived cancer many years ago, please share your story.  It often helps others to hear how someone else dealt with the disease, both physically and emotionally.  If you would like to write a story about yourself to share with others, please do so and email it to the webmaster for inclusion on this website.  Thank you.
Diagnosis:  Multiple Myeloma.  At that moment I knew how a criminal felt when condemned to the death penalty.  (Read the entire story by Diana Gonzalez)
I was in Cancun, Mexico with five wonderful women, but wasn’t really having a great time.   (Read the entire story by Maggie Nicholson)
The first time I had breast cancer it was "A Minor Inconvenience", but the second time it was "A Major Inconvenience".  (Read Barbara Smith's story in poetry form.)
